The world wide web is a big place, and there is a lot of software and enhancements out there to make your experience of it something worth remembering. Everyone has their own preferences, and here at Fantasy Age, we have ours as well. We've created our pages to look a certain way in certain environments, and hope that most of our viewers will be able to see the intended effects of our efforts. In order to help this along, we've provided this page as a pointer or guide as to under what conditions this site can be best viewed.

We of course endorse use of the most current versions of Netscape Navigator and Microsoft Internet Explorer as the primary web browser.

Fantasy Age makes use of many web enhancements that are not seen correctly without one of these two browsers, and was created in a Windows 95 operating system with a screen resolution of 800x600 under 24-bit color mode. Care was taken so that it would look mostly the same under different resolutions as well.

We also use specific fonts for Windows 95. We are making Charter BT and Americana Text BT fonts available for download here, in a standard ZIP file. It would only take a few minutes to install the files if you can use them; you might be surprised at the difference it makes in the overall appearance of the pages on this site.
